December 2003
In 2003, I joined musical forces with singer/songwriter Lisa Long to accomplish my latest musical venture.  I have a new band called "Trusting Lucy" and we have self produced a 14 song 2 disc CD (acoustic and full band versions) entitled "It'll be fine."

February 17th, Saturday - Monterey Life Support, Viva's in Monterey. A benefit evening for bassist James Brian Findlay. $5 suggested donation.

April 21st, Saturday - California State University Benefit for Organic Consumer's Association and The Rural Development Center. Linda Arceo and Lisa Long open for Laura Love. Show begins at 8pm. $10 cover.

April 28th, Saturday - Borders Elk Grove, Linda plays from 8-10pm. No cover.

May 2nd, Wednesday - Bocci's Cellar in Santa Cruz. Linda plays with Lisa Long at Mic Overman's Songwriter's Showcase. 9pm. No cover.

May 26th, Saturday - Mama Bear's Bookstore in Oakland. ARLO, the duo with Linda Arceo and Lisa Long. Show starts at 7:30 pm, $8-10 cover.

June 9th, Saturday - "Mariposa Evenings" outdoor summer concert series in Mariposa, California. 7:30-9:30pm. Linda plays with "The Temper Mental Trio," an acoustic act. For more information please contact Alicia Rodriguez at The Mariposa Arts Council at 209-966-3115. This show has no cover and Mariposa is located near the entrance to Yosemite, come and camp. The whole town comes out for these shows!

June 29th, Friday - Juice and Java Open Mic with host Rama P. Jama
ARLO the duo with Linda Arceo and Lisa Long play. Show is from 7-10pm . No cover

June 30th, Saturday - ARLO the duo: Linda plays with Lisa Long from 8-10pm at The Crepe Place in Santa Cruz. The Crepe Place is located at 1134 Soquel Avenue and there is no cover for the show. For more information, please call The Crepe Place at 831-429-6994.

July 27th, Friday - ARLO, the band (formerly The Linda Arceo Band) plays at The Gilroy Garlic Festival 3-4:30 pm on the Gazebo Stage. For more information, see the website at www.gilroygarlicfestival.com

August 2nd, Thursday - ARLO, the band plays at The Blue Fin KMBY night, 685 Cannery Row, Monterey, 9pm. Also playing "Daisy Head" and "Dead Weight." $2 cover.

August 10th, Friday - ARLO, the band plays at The Blue Fin for the KMBY Black and Blue Blitzkrieg. Show starts at 9pm. Also playing following the contest, The Delphine's with Kathy Valentine, formerly of The GO GO's.

October 12th, Friday - ARLO, the duo plays at Morgan's Coffee and Tea for The Carmel Performing Art's Festival Cabaret. Also playing Laura Dare and Warren John Wolfe, $10 cover.

November 23rd, Friday, 8pm - ARLO the duo with Joel Steven on lead guitar, plays at The Rose Street House of Music in Berkeley, CA
The Rose Street House of Music is located on Rose Street off Martin Luther King Jr Way
Also Performing is Amy Martin and De Greer.  The cover is $8-20 sliding scale donation, no one turned away for lack of funds. Rose Street House of Music asks that guests avoid perfumes or scented hair sprays. Please call 510-594-4000 extension MUS for more information.

December 11th, Tuesday, 8pm - ARLO plays at Diva Bands show at The Hotel Utah in San Francisco.  The schedule is as follows:

Hello Everyone!

I just wanted to share with you the latest music news. A few months ago I entered the John Lennon Songwriting contest. This national contest is open to both amateur and professional songwriters.
Songs could be entered in any of the following twelve categories: Rock, Country, Jazz, Pop, World, Rhythm & Blues, Gospel/Inspirational, Hip-Hop, Latin, Electronic, Folk, or Children's Music.

I was informed that my song “Cliché” (from my CD) won second place in the Latin Category with a prize of $1,000. I'm so excited. Also my song “She’s Waiting” was recognized in the Rock Category, but did not make it to the top ten.
